Visiting Residents and Fellows

Residents and fellows from training programs at other institutions can complete a clinical rotation at a TriHealth facility as long as the following requirements are met:

  1. A current, fully-executed Program Letter of Agreement (PLA) is in place between the residency or fellowship program and the TriHealth participating site.
  2. An Application for Non-TriHealth Residents/Fellows Rotating at TriHealth has been completed and submitted to the GME Office by the TriHealth participating site coordinator prior to the start of the rotation.
  3. The online education requirements have been completed and the appropriate certificates have been submitted to the GME Office prior to the start of the rotation by the TriHealth participating site coordinator.
  4. For rotations that will occur during flu season, documentation of having received the flu vaccine must be provided to the GME Office.

The residency or fellowship coordinator will work directly with the coordinator at the participating TriHealth site to establish rotation dates and ensure that all requirements are met. The coordinator at the TriHealth participating site will provide all required documentation to the GME Office.

Residents/fellows should receive the Visiting Residents Prerequisite Checklist from their coordinator prior to the state of their rotation. The checklist provides a list of the online education requirements and information regarding ID badges, EPIC training, and GME Office contact information.
