Our OB/GYN Residency curriculum provides comprehensive education in obstetrics and gynecology in a fast-paced, challenging – yet supportive – environment that fosters learning and development. Our goal is to instill the values of patient-centered, coordinated care in our residents so they can deliver the same quality service that has been long-trusted at any TriHealth facility.

Comprehensive Education

The high volume of obstetrics and gynecology experience at Good Samaritan and Bethesda North hospitals fully provide residents with the tools they need to make clinical decisions with confidence. Our comprehensive curriculum includes rotations, grand rounds and participation in a clinical setting to ensure that our residents become experienced, credentialed experts in the subject matter.

At completion, qualifying residents will be eligible for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Residents will graduate among the most knowledgeable, experienced and technologically advanced practitioners in their field. See the program manual for more information.

Residents are eligible for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology upon successful completion of this program. The TriHealth Obstetrician-Gynecology Residency Program includes:

  • 18 months of obstetrics
  • 18 months of gynecology
  • Six months or more of primary care
  • Additional rotations, including electives
