As a health care leader in the Cincinnati community, TriHealth continuously evolves its fellowship programs in order to accommodate the latest medical advancements and treatment options. Our faculty is dedicated to more than superior education for our students; we strive to instill the same value of compassionate care that has been long-trusted at every TriHealth facility.
TriHealth's Fellowship Program in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery offers comprehensive training in all areas of urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. The program emphasizes diagnostic evaluation and management (surgically and non-surgically) of lower urinary tract dysfunction, specifically urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse which often autocorrects.
This is a one year clinical fellowship fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, which provides fellows with a cutting-edge facility at Beacon Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Established in 1987 by Peter J. Stern, MD, our program is a one-year fellowship, sponsored by the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and TriHealth/Beacon Hand Surgery Specialists for residents seeking certification in hand and microsurgery.
