Staying Healthy as Kids are Back in the Classroom

Back to School Tips

Keeping your whole family healthy while the kids go back to school can be a challenge. But if you follow some simple guidelines, you can go a long way in protecting your household from those unwelcome germs.

Remember to emphasize hand washing and tissue use and coughing etiquette, especially with the little ones. Keep everyone's vaccines up-to-date. Eat healthy and stay hydrated. Don't share personal items like brushes and headphones - especially with kids - to prevent the spread of germs and lice. And importantly, stay informed about outbreaks and stay alert for any symptoms a family member may be exhibiting.
