Sudden cardiac arrest is when the electrical system in the heart misfires, malfunctions and/or becomes irregular.
Sudden cardiac arrest can be treated in many ways, but initial treatment should be given as soon as possible. If you suspect you or someone you are with is in cardiac arrest, please call 911, begin CPR if you know how to perform it, and get to an emergency room.
