Cancer and Blood Care

Support Services

At the TriHealth Cancer & Blood Institute, we know that providing complete care involves much more than just the required clinical treatments. That’s why we offer support services, to help you learn, cope and heal, no matter where you are in your journey.

Acute Care Therapies

Therapy services may include occupational therapy (enhances daily living skills and adapts environments for better function), physical therapy (improves strength and mobility), and speech & language pathology (addresses communication, swallowing issues, and cognitive concerns like “chemo brain” after cancer treatment).

Exercise is a great way to increase energy levels, strength, cardiovascular endurance, bone health, weight goals, and overall health. The PROS team aims to optimize function and independence of patients who are impaired from the effects of cancer or their cancer treatment. The team recognizes the challenges of patients who may still be undergoing an active cancer treatment program and are able to adjust the treatment plan accordingly.
