You likely will have been referred to us by your primary care physician or by an emergency room physician. This may be a stressful time for you as you likely have been told that your blood counts are very high or very low. We work closely with you to provide the necessary testing to provide you with information quickly.

Know that if your situation is deemed acute, your care team will move very quickly. You may be admitted to the hospital or you will be sent for further testing.

Your primary care physician’s nurse will be your navigator. TriHealth Cancer Institute nurses will also work closely with you. Your infusion nurse will also be a critical member of your care team. Oour highly skilled nursing team will introduces you to options and schedules your treatment.

Your personal health is reviewed by our hematology tumor board. This board is a combined brain trust of all specialties that include oncology, surgery, genetics, treatment experts and nursing. They collectively offer thinking and analysis that provides the best care for your success.
