Trusting Her Doctor: Shalena's Experience with TriHealth Labor & Delivery

“That was the first thing I noticed about Dr. Pantel,” said TriHealth maternity patient Shalena Wilson. “I always felt heard and had my wishes and feelings validated.”

When she came into the hospital when it was time to deliver, Shalena was a little nervous. She was worried that Dr. Pantel would want her to get a C-section, and Shalena had made up her mind that it was something she would rather avoid if possible.

According to Shalena, Dr. Pantel supported her patient.

“On the spot Dr. Pantel said ‘Okay let me evaluate you, I think that’s a great possibility and something we discussed prior,’” Shalena said.

Shalena went on and ultimately did not have to get the C-section she was worried about.

“It was the most seamless, successful process I could ever have imagined.”
