Stroke Quality Measures

At TriHealth, we are dedicated to enhancing stroke outcomes and delivering exceptional care to the communities we serve. Our quality experts continuously evaluate and refine our practices, guided by the latest evidence-based recommendations from the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Stroke Association (ASA).

When it comes to stroke, every minute truly matters. Rapid treatment is critical because the longer the brain is deprived of blood flow, the greater the damage. Research shows that for every 15 minutes of delay in receiving appropriate care, the risk of long-term disability significantly increases. This means that even short delays can have life-changing consequences, affecting a person’s ability to walk, speak, or live independently. Timely intervention not only saves lives but also preserves quality of life, underscoring the urgent need to recognize stroke symptoms quickly and seek emergency medical attention without hesitation.
