Comprehensive 24/7 neurological care, including evaluation and management for the first 48-72 hours by our Stroke and Neuroscience Emergencies (STANSE) Team.

Good Samaritan Hospital is dedicated to evaluating and evolving complex stroke care through evidence-based protocols, participation in research, & multidisciplinary commitment to improved patient outcomes.
Primary Stroke Center
Bethesda Butler Hospital achieves long term success in improving outcomes. Patients can stay at the facility if receiving thrombolytic treatment, or no timely intervention is needed. Transport for surgical intervention is available.
Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center
Bethesda North Hospital provides timely stroke medications & surgical interventions for eligible patients & post-procedural care while providing key elements in improving outcomes.
Acute Stroke Ready Hospital
McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital offers thrombolytic medication and timely transport if acute surgical intervention in more rural area for patients suffering from stroke, but also offers neurologic services for patients not requiring intervention.

Good Samaritan Hospital is dedicated to evaluating and evolving complex stroke care through evidence-based protocols, participation in research, & multidisciplinary commitment to improved patient outcomes.

Good Samaritan Western Ridge is also a free-standing dedicated stroke-focused facility that offers the rapid clinical evaluation and decision making to determine eligibility for thrombolytic medication & acute timely transport protocols for the safe transport to Good Samaritan Hospital for the highest level of care.
