Dr. Winner was drawn to treating heart rhythm disorders because it affords him the opportunity to improve people's lives. He is excited about new procedures that are fundamentally changing the way rhythm disorders, such as atrial fibrillation, are managed and treated. Originally from outside Columbus, he has spent a number of years in medical training at The Ohio State University, where he has learned some of the most advanced techniques available for treating rhythm disorders. He is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society. Although Dr. Winner's specialty of electrophysiology can be highly technical, he believes firmly in spending time listening to his patients' questions and providing answers they can understand. He joined the TriHealth Heart Institute because he believes the organization shares his personal vision to deliver the highest quality of care and continually improve. Dr. Winner lives with his wife and two children in Hyde Park.
