About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Electrophysiology

With more than 20 years experience treating patients
with arrhythmias, Dr. Emile Daoud is dedicated to quality
patient care. He is co-inventor of the esolution® device,
the first FDA-approved device designed to reduce the risk
of esophageal injury during ablation procedures. He has
served as chief of cardiac electrophysiology at The Ohio
State University and has published extensively on heart
rhythm topics and related research.
As a board-certified electrophysiologist, Dr. Daoud tests,
diagnoses and treats abnormal heart rhythms, including
atrial fibrillation, bradycardia and tachycardia. He performs
cardiac ablations and implants cardiac devices as needed.
Dr. Daoud takes an individualized approach to every
patient, understanding the need to balance the treatments
with the patient’s preferences and goals. His goal is always
to provide the best care possible. He encourages everyone
to embrace taking care of themselves, understanding that
they are an integral part of their health care.
Married for more than 32 years, Dr. Daoud has three
grown children. He comes from a family of medical
professionals – his father was a long-time cardiologist at
Good Samaritan Hospital. He enjoys tennis, pickleball and
golf. He also loves flying and is a pilot.
