Dr. Ehsan Chitsaz, MD, brings a wealth of experience to
TriHealth. He served as Clinical Assistant Professor at Case
Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine in
Cleveland prior to joining TriHealth. Dr. Chitsaz completed
his residency at Boston University Medical Center, did a
postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University. He finished a
gastroenterology fellowship at the National Institutes of
Health (NIH) and the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD.
As a board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Chitsaz
sees patients for cancer screening and a variety of
gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He believes that
successful clinical care starts with making a precise
diagnosis, and he finds it rewarding to listen to his patients’
stories carefully. Dr. Chitsaz’s philosophy in his practice is
based on a systematic approach and in a step-wise manner.
Originally Persian-Canadian, Dr. Chitsaz chose to relocate
to Cincinnati for the friendly people, strong communities
and family values. He is a scientific peer reviewer for The
Journal of Gastroenterology and American Journal of
Gastroenterology, two of the top tier peer-reviewed journals
in the field of gastroenterology. He enjoys hiking, soccer and
pickleball.
