Chelcey Franzen, FNP-C, found the love for healing through her mother, who was also a nurse. Helping with other family members with cancer piqued her interest in learning more and helping others with the disease.
Prior to her TriHealth practice, she gained more than five years of experience in trauma/acute care surgery and gastrointestinal procedures. She loves the complexity and constantly evolving nature of gastroenterology. As a certified nurse practitioner, Chelcey sees adults for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses of the gastrointestinal tract. As an empathetic caregiver, she creates a comforting space for easy conversations with her patients. She encourages everyone to get preventive screenings, especially recommended colonoscopies.
Married with one son, Chelcey grew up in Northern Kentucky. She helps raise money for the Franzen Colon Cancer Research Fund, a foundation created in honor of her brother-in-law, Brad, who was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 25. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
