Brett Goldman, MD, started his career in epidemiology, investigating the patterns, causes and controls of public health matters. Realizing that he wanted a more individualized approach to helping people, he turned his interest to obstetrics and gynecology, specifically maternal-fetal medicine. Dr. Goldman values the blend of preventive care, patient interaction and counseling women through what can be a difficult time.
As a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, Dr. Goldman focuses on diagnosing, monitoring and managing complications in pregnant mothers and their unborn children. He is particularly interested in operative obstetrics, including complicated C-sections and cesarean hysterectomies. Dr. Goldman helps his patients understand all aspects of the complications they are experiencing. He assures that patients have a full understanding of what to expect before and after delivery, helping them make informed decisions about their care. He encourages everyone to focus on preventive care and attend prenatal sessions.
Originally from Florida, Dr. Goldman and his wife have two children. He likes college football, lacrosse and cooking. He also enjoys teaching residents and medical students.
