From an early age, Samantha Mast, MD, knew she wanted to be a physician. As a fifth grader, she chose to write a class assignment on the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and was able to tour Good Samaritan Hospital's NICU. She instantly fell in love with the notion of providing care for ill and premature newborn babies. In medical school, Dr. Mast decided to specialize in Maternal-Fetal medicine, allowing her to provide prenatal care for both mother and baby during high-risk pregnancies.
Dr. Mast provides specialized care to women with high-risk pregnancies, including pregnant women with special medical conditions, women who are at risk for pregnancy-related complications and pregnant women with at-risk fetuses. Dr. Mast recognizes that every pregnancy is unique and provides an individualized, personalized plan of care for her patients.

Away from the office, Dr. Mast cherishes her time with her husband and children, and enjoys water activities like boating and wakeboarding.
