Dr. Robyn Gorman loves working with children and possesses a passion for medicine. During her undergraduate studies in engineering, she discovered her true calling was a career in medicine. She learned that she wanted to help shape a child's life from the beginning, by putting and keeping her patients on a path of good health. Driven by knowing she wants to give children a bright future, Dr. Gorman, a parent herself, is excited to work closely with children and their parents, and partner with them as the children travel through their formative years. She encourages social interaction, reading, and play as integral parts of a child's well-being.
Dr. Gorman originally did her pediatric training in Cincinnati, after which she moved to Washington, D.C. for several years prior to returning home. She has provided health care to patients in Honduras, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic as well. She enjoys spending time with her family and has two children, a boy and a girl. She and her family enjoy reading, traveling, athletics, and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Gorman treats pediatric and adolescent patients, from newborns through the age of 21 years, for a variety of common acute and chronic medical conditions. She speaks Spanish and sees the global health care aspect of society changing. She appreciates those changes and utilizes her problem-solving skills and resources to ensure the development of a strong foundation for good health for her patients in the future. Dr. Gorman looks forward to meeting you and your children and watching them grow!
