Medicine was more of a calling than a career choice for Dr. Micah Resnick. Coming from a family of doctors, he saw the various options available in the profession and was drawn to the opportunity to help people. He has always loved working with children and naturally learned about child development from his mother, who was a nursery school teacher. He started his career in the most diverse zip code in the country – Queens, NY – and worked for a time in a mental health hospital. These experiences lead him to meet people where they are, listen a lot and then provide the compassion, support and resources needed.
Dr. Resnick sees patients from newborn through college age for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. He conducts well-child exams and provides developmental screenings. He creates a comfortable, warm and trusting environment where he works with families to raise healthy kids living fulfilling lives. He encourages everyone to turn off the screen, go outside and move that body for at least 60 minutes every day.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Resnick is one of four children and a twin. He is happily married to a native Cincinnatian. They have three children. He volunteers with the American Academy of Pediatrics and coaches youth sports. He enjoys running, reading and eating pizza.
