TriHealth is proud to collaborate with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center through the Cincinnati Children’s Fetal Care Center, one of only a few comprehensive fetal care centers in the country. Led by physicians from TriHealth, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and University of Cincinnati Medical Center, our team specializes in treating complex and rare fetal conditions. Since 2004, our team has evaluated more than 6,808 high-risk pregnancies. This experience enables us to provide the most sophisticated, effective therapies available.
From Good Samaritan Hospital’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to Bethesda North’s Level II Harold and Margret Thomas Special Care Nursery, TriHealth provides tender, patient-centered care for newborns who require extra attention. Our focus is stabilization for babies born early or with medical problems, and the ongoing care of critically ill babies.
TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital’s Advanced Obstetrical Care Unit provides skilled nursing and in-patient care from a multi-disciplinary team including our Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists. We treat women with preterm labor, diabetes, preeclampsia and other antepartum (pre-delivery) medical conditions.
Pregnant women with cardiac illness present unique and technical challenges to the healthcare system and those challenges create additional risks. The Center for Maternal Cardiac Care combines the expertise of specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Cardiology and Cardiac and Obstetric Anesthesia for a new, collaborative approach to pregnancy care.
