The Bethesda North Minimally Invasive Surgery Center is a specialized surgical center located on the Bethesda North campus. The specialized outpatient surgery center (formerly NASC) is focused on minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures for outpatient gynecology and general surgery cases.

The vision of the center is to provide exceptional care to patients through convenient and integrated services with the community’s leading surgeons. By aligning surgeons and clinical teams who practice in key specialties, patients experience more efficient processes and better outcomes.

The center was designed in proximity to Bethesda North hospital and gives the center access to all of the hospital’s services on the same site, including medical testing, specialty care and hospital admission if necessary. This new center is committed to embracing new technologies, innovation and minimally invasive procedures. while enhancing clinical outcomes with excellence in patient family centered care. 

The Bethesda North Minimally Invasive Surgery Center is a 10,000 square foot facility, designed as a four operating room suite. All operating rooms are enlarged to accommodate minimally invasive technologies.
