Where you choose to welcome your baby is an important life decision. At TriHealth, safety, security, privacy and comfort for you and your little one are at the heart of everything we do. From our dedicated maternity team to our comprehensive security systems and safety protocols, we provide an environment where you’ll feel supported and protected.
Your labor and delivery experience is uniquely yours. We’ll work with you to build a birth plan that honors your wishes and follows our safety measures. And we’ll create a nurturing space where you can connect and bond with your baby. As your health care partner, we provide a wide range of security features that help you focus on what matters most — your growing family.
At TriHealth, your baby’s safety is one of our top priorities. We use a coordinated infant security system to protect every baby born in one of our delivery hospitals. This system includes:
Your peace and privacy after giving birth matter to us. To provide a calm setting, our labor, delivery, postpartum and special care nurseries are secure units. Access doors are locked and monitored by our maternity staff and security team. We also offer these security features:
Your baby’s birth is a special time to share with your family. We want you and your loved ones to feel safe during your hospital stay. To reach that goal, we screen all visitors before they enter our maternity and newborn areas.
All visitors must present a photo ID upon arrival. After verifying their name is on the approved visitor list, we give them a visible pass to wear while they’re in the unit. Additional visitation guidelines apply if your baby is in the special nursery or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), especially for young visitors or anyone with a recent illness.
