Our outpatient infectious disease clinics have available appointments for both new referrals and established follow-up patients. We treat a wide variety of infectious diseases, with a team of board-certified specialists personalizing care to meet patient needs.

Bone and joint infections can cause serious issues within the body, requiring a well-coordinated multidisciplinary approach to manage. Utilizing targeted antimicrobial therapies, our team can work to address the root causes of infection and improve quality of life for those affected.

In conjunction with our Heart & Vascular institute, we provide a range of services to ensure infections of heart valves, both prosthetic and native, as well as various vascular devices, are managed effectively. This includes assistance with the LVAD program for TriHealth’s network of hospitals in the greater Cincinnati region.

Some organisms can become resistant to certain antibiotics, making the management of associated infections difficult. Our specialists can work to ensure a personalized plan-of-care is created to maximize outcomes for patients battling these multidrug-resistant organisms.

Using a multidisciplinary approach, patients who are living with - or have been exposed to - HIV can continue to thrive and lead healthier lives.

Patients discharged from the hospital and those seen in the outpatient setting can be treated by our team using focused IV antibiotic therapies.

Our physicians can help manage various issues surrounding the transplant process, both pre- and post-surgery, and complications surrounding bone marrow transplants. They also help to manage infectious complications for immune suppressed patients.
