As an athlete, Rodney Roof, DPM, loved running. Having experienced several foot injuries during training and competitions, he wanted to be able to provide comfort and relief to those similarly suffering from foot and ankle issues. Dr. Roof provides general and surgical podiatric care for adolescent and adult patients to treat nearly all foot and ankle problems. From orthopedic conditions and trauma to diabetic care and dermatological conditions, he strives to return patients to their normal life through conservative treatment. Surgical procedures are also an option in cases where discomfort continues to exist. Realizing every patient's condition is unique, he takes time to partner with his patients, communicate with their families, and develop a customized treatment plan in coordination with the patient's physician.Dr. Roof's practice focus includes:Sports injuries (Tendonitis, Plantar fasciitis, Stress fractures)Nail and Skin issues (Warts, Ingrown toenails, Skin biopsies)Diabetic care for feetBiomechanical issuesReconstructive surgery (Bunion, Hammertoe, Arthritis, Fracture repair)An accomplished triathlete, runner and bicycle racer, Dr. Roof promotes an active lifestyle to stay in shape and help prevent injuries.

    Dr. Roof took the time to not only explain the procedure I had done 26 yrs prior (that is no longer taught or performed), but the anatomy of the foot and what was likely causing the issue.
