Always interested in science and helping people, Dr. Casie Blanton had the perfect role model for her future career: her mother was a physician. Her choice of podiatry as a specialty came from an accident – a fish bone went through her foot while walking on a beach. The subsequent extraction fascinated her and steered her to podiatric surgery.
Dr. Blanton diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the foot, ankle and related structures of the leg. She is fellowship-trained in orthopedic plastic surgery and is particularly interested in limb reconstruction and limb salvage. She believes in creating a friendly atmosphere where she can build trusting relationships with her patients. She encourages everyone to exercise with a focus on staying fit and active. Dr. Blanton values the opportunity to help her patients with surgical or non‑surgical treatments.
Dr. Blanton loves travel and outdoor activities, including boating, hiking and running. Having volunteered on a mission trip to El Salvador, she plans to continue that work in other countries. Although she and her husband don’t have children yet, their pride and joy is a mini golden‑doodle named Coco.
