In college, Dr. Nick Huang was inspired by his professor to pursue a career in cancer biology. He went on to enroll in a dual-degree program, where he obtained a medical doctorate and a doctorate in immunology and microbiology. He continued on to serve a fellowship in hematology/oncology. He finds there’s something special about walking the cancer journey with his patients and focusing on maximizing their quality of life.
Dr. Huang provides diagnosis and treatment for patients with all types of cancer. He is particularly interested in immunotherapy and targeted therapies. He offers his patients the best new treatments that are safe and proven. Dr. Huang likes to get to know his patients, collaborating closely with them to determine the best treatments to maximize what is important to them. He believes in taking a holistic approach to treating the body, mind and spirit when dealing with a physical ailment.
Dr. Huang is married and has two young children. He was born in Taiwan, immigrated to the United States as a toddler and moved to Cincinnati for his residency, where he has lived for 10 years. He enjoys spending time with his children, biking and travel.
