David Draper, MD, was touched by cancer as a teenager, when his mother died from metastatic breast cancer. This experience has led him to understand two principle components when caring for patients:
Dr. Draper’s ambition is to be exemplary in both endeavors. He has been a dedicated physician working with TriHealth Cancer Institute since its inception. He has been the recipient of several accolades including the Cancer Family Care Unsung Hero Award and The Good Samaritan Hospital Educator of the Year Award. He has been featured in Cincinnati Magazine and has consistently been named a Top Doc since 2011. He is the Division Director of Education for the Good Samaritan Internal Medicine Residency Program as well as the Director of Gastrointestinal Oncology for the TriHealth Cancer & Blood Institute. He is involved in a multitude of research projects and has numerous publications and national poster presentations.
