About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Family Medicine

Dr. Lauren Trout has always loved meeting new people and chose to pursue a career in medicine in the hopes that she could make a difference in her patients’ lives. She values the opportunity to follow her patients throughout their lives and wishes to help them with a variety of health concerns.

Dr. Trout provides comprehensive care from adolescence (age 16 and up) through geriatrics. She sees patients for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness, as well as the management of chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Dr. Trout seeks to create a trusting environment where patients can feel comfortable opening up about their concerns and trusting her to provide the best care possible. She encourages everyone to get moving at least 30 minutes a day to prevent many health issues before they can occur.

Married with one son, Dr. Trout is an Ohio native. Her family likes being outdoors, hiking, camping and spending time in nature.

This was my first visit with Dr. Trout. She...- introduced herself when she first entered the room, - made eye contact when she talked to me (rather than only looking at the computer). I was impressed that she was familiar with my MR. She was able to answer all of my questions, and come up with plan of care for a new issue I am having.
