Anjuli Mahajan, MD, loves the variety inherent in practicing Family Medicine. In a given day, her patients can range from a two month old infant to an elderly adult, keeping her on her toes and providing an enjoyable challenge. Regardless of a patient's age, symptoms or condition, Dr. Mahajan practices medicine to help people, in much the same way her father improved the quality of life for the patients in his own medical practice.
Dr. Mahajan treats newborn through adult patients for most common health issues, including diabetes and hypertension. She is interested in working with pediatric and adolescent patients on preventative health and lifestyle modifications related to obesity and women's health issues. Dr. Mahajan hopes to proactively connect with her younger patients on these critical issues, allowing the patients to possibly avoid prescription drugs and enter adulthood with a greater chance for better overall health. She encourages patients to ask questions of their health care provider and to take ownership of their own health.
