Dr. Anna Friend comes to TriHealth after serving in the US Air Force, where she was an attending physician stationed at bases in Texas and South Korea. Growing up, she was always interested in pursuing a career in medicine and was drawn to family medicine because of the broad scope of care she could provide. She values the opportunity to build relationships with her patients and to support them throughout all stages of life.
Dr. Friend sees patients from newborns through geriatrics for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. She is particularly interested in women’s health and preventative care at all ages. Dr. Friend likes to assure that her patients feel safe in an inclusive environment where they can be open about their needs. Recognizing that every patient is unique, she likes to work collaboratively with her patients to determine the best care plan for each individual.
As a native of Michigan, Dr. Friend, her spouse and two dogs are delighted to call Cincinnati their new home. She loves traveling, physical fitness, being outdoors and team trivia competitions.
