Growing up, Dr. Chaney looked at her doctors as her heroes- the people who helped her stay healthy so she could work toward goals in education and sports. She chose to specialize in family medicine with an additional fellowship in sports medicine because of the broad range of people she can help throughout their lives.
Dr. Chaney sees patients of all ages, from newborn through geriatrics, providing comprehensive care for acute and chronic conditions. She provides non-operative orthopedic care for athletes and people of all ages and abilities. She is trained in using ultrasound imaging for orthopedic injections and diagnostic purposes. Impressed with the sense of comfort she felt with her own doctors, she aims to build a relationship of trust with her patients that allows them to look to her for advice and complete care.
Dr. Chaney encourages everyone to take one day at a time and to set small goals and to know that nothing is impossible.
A Cincinnati native, Dr. Chaney is active in her church and has volunteered her medical care as a team doctor for Xavier University, Walnut Hills High School and Cincinnati Bengals cheerleading. She also works with TriHealth's Events Medicine Team, which is affiliated with the Cincinnati Reds and Xavier University and other local teams and at events in the city. She enjoys scuba diving, working out, baking, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
