Dr. Alyssa Brogden truly believes that everyone deserves high quality, compassionate and equitable care from a doctor they can trust. Initially an athletic trainer, Dr. Brogden recognized that the system of medicine was failing children and families and her best way of helping remedy that would be as a family medicine physician.
Dr. Brogden sees patients of all ages, genders and races for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness. She is particularly interested in African- American health, women’s health and mental health. She also performs osteopathic manipulations to help correct structural imbalances, improve mobility and relieve pain. Dr. Brogden creates a safe and nonjudgmental environment where patients can feel welcome to be their authentic selves and to ask questions. She encourages everyone to know their personal and community history, so they can understand the impact that has on their health.
A native Cincinnatian, Dr. Brogden and her husband have one daughter. She loves walking in the neighborhood, listening to podcasts, reading nonfiction, cooking and gardening. She finds peace in meditation and moving her body. Dr. Brogden is very interested in antiracism, racial health disparities and diversity, equity and inclusion in medical institutions.
