About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology

From a young age, Sarah Lewis, M.D. was interested in medicine. This interest was solidified after attending her first delivery, where she witnessed not only the miracle of a new life born, but all of the euphoric emotions by the parents, nurses and doctors. In addition to having the privilege to deliver babies, one of Dr. Lewis' favorite aspects of her work is establishing long-term gynecologic relationships with her patients.

Dr. Lewis received her residency training at Good Samaritan Hospital and now her practice focus is obstetrics, office gynecology, gynecologic surgery including robotics, and postmenopausal care. She obtained additional certifications in menopause management. She is proud to provide these services to her community.

In her free time, Dr. Lewis enjoys family time with her husband, their 2 daughters and dog. Her other interests include crafting and boating.

Dr. Lewis does deliveries at Bethesda North Hospital.

The care I received was great and filled with compassion. I would love to make a suggestion- I was seeing an OB for possibly miscarriage in pregnancy. Upon arrival I sat in the waiting room for 15 minutes or more. While sitting there I saw a huge poster that said congratulations on your pregnancy, a happy mom with her growing belly and another mom happily looking at an ultrasound picture. All while I had tears streaming down my face. A nurse made my appointment for me- I would love to make a suggestion filled with compassion. If a women is there for possible loss, it would be great to have them brought into an individual room right away. I am totally fine waiting, but waiting in the privacy of my own room vs a waiting room would have been so much better. Sitting in that busy waiting room felt like the longest minutes.
