About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Internal Medicine

Dr. Philip Cleves was drawn to medicine as a unique career that blends the depth of science and knowledge with practical applications to people in everyday life. The unique challenges and complexities of chronic diseases and acute illness seen in primary care also appealed to him.

As a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Cleves sees adults for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and obesity. He holds a strong interest in the management of chronic disease and preventive health care. Dr. Cleves creates a calm, respectful and open environment, where patients feel heard and supported. He believes in shared decision making and working collaboratively toward achievable goals, rather than just prescribing a one-size-fits-all plan.

As a Cincinnati native, Dr. Cleves is happy and proud to be working in his hometown. His free time usually consists of spending time with family around the area taking in all that the city has to offer.

Didn't end up showing up - took a strep test over the weekend and forgot to cancel my appointment. But have only ever had good experiences with trihealth!
