Growing up, Dr. Leona Bowman witnessed the positive impact her mother - a physician - made in the lives of her patients, and was inspired by her to follow a career in medicine.
Dr. Bowman is excited to join Blue Ash Internal Medicine to team with patients and engage them in their own care. She treats adult patients for a broad spectrum of acute illnesses and helps manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension. In treating the whole person, not just the disease, she also provides preventive health techniques to keep patients at their healthiest.
Encouraging open, honest communication, Dr. Bowman's goal is to understand what each patient wants out his or her health. With that mutual understanding, she can then partner with patients to develop customized treatment plans and health goals to help them attain that quality of life.
