Dr. Erika Kasten truly appreciates the special relationship that forms between doctor and patient. She loves all aspects of women’s health and feels privileged to share some of the most important events in her patients’ lives.
Dr. Kasten sees adolescents and adults for the full range of obstetric and gynecologic care, including well woman exams and contraception management. She provides prenatal, delivery and postnatal care. She also performs minimally invasive surgery and the Acessa® procedure for fibroids. Dr. Kasten creates a safe environment where patients can comfortably ask any question. She takes a collaborative approach with patients, providing information and options before coming up with a plan that works for each individual. She encourages everyone to find a form of exercise that makes them happy, emphasizing the importance movement has on all aspects of a healthy lifestyle.
Originally from Florida, Dr. Kasten and her husband came to Ohio for education opportunities. They share their home with a chocolate Lab and two cats. She loves running, rock climbing, hiking in National Parks, reading and cooking new foods.
