Inspired by her physician grandfather, Vickie Collaros, MD, knew from an early age she wanted to use medicine to positively impact those in need. After 18 years of practicing family medicine in South Carolina and Virginia, Dr. Collaros was excited to return to Cincinnati and care for patients in her hometown.
Dr. Collaros treats adolescent and adult patients, age 16 and older, for a variety of common acute and chronic medical conditions. She emphasizes the important role of preventive medicine techniques to keep her patients as healthy as possible. Dr. Collaros enjoys developing relationships with patients as she follows them through life. Her greatest strength is working one-on-one with patients to help educate them on their health and answer any questions. With a team-based approach to patient care, she encourages patients to take an active role in their health and in the development of treatment plans.
Dr. Collaros is inspired by witnessing her patients empower themselves in their own health care and succeeding with the plans they developed together.
