A passion for science and the opportunity to work with people on a daily basis led Dr. Scott Strait to a career in medicine. He chose to specialize in family medicine because of the focus on relationships and working together to create healthy lifestyles.
Dr. Strait sees patients from age 7 through geriatrics to diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic illness. He is particularly interested in weight loss management. He likes to have relaxed and open conversations, where patients can feel comfortable discussing their concerns. He encourages everyone to realize that perfection can get in the way of doing good. When a health goal isn’t reached, he urges patients to recognize there will be bumps along the way and to just get back to working toward better health.
Married with one child, Dr. Strait grew up in the Cincinnati area. He enjoys volunteering with the FreeStore FoodBank. In his spare time, he likes to write and has two unpublished novels. He also enjoys working out and running.
