Dr. McDonough always is very pleasant and always makes sure my muscles are working properly. She always explains what I need to do to take care of myself. I wish she didn't have to retire yet.

I came to a physical medicine doctor to get help with strengthening my neck and back, and improving my overall body mechanics due to several chronic conditions. We have built a good rapport, however she is a little more hesitant to keep me on a pain management medication that works for me. But, she always explains the risk, and listens to me. She is "old school," so I know I can depend on her to make the best treatment plan for me as my doctor, and to keep it real with me as far as how she can help me and how I can help myself. I never like starting with new doctors who push meds and therapies on me, but Dr. McDonough is an expert in her field, and I fully trust her!
