It was the compassionate care of the hospice staff caring for his grandmother that drew Dr. Sanker to medicine. He chose to study family medicine and then sports medicine because he enjoys working with
people of all ages and a variety of medical issues.
Dr. Sanker sees patients age 16 and up for acute illnesses, preventive care and chronic conditions. He also treats all ages for non-surgical sports medicine, including fractures, sprains and concussion management. He uses ultrasound for guided injections and diagnostic purposes. He strives to create a comfortable atmosphere where he can partner with his patients to help them live their healthiest and happiest lives. He emphasizes healthy living and encourages everyone to be physically active, stimulate the mind daily and to stay positive.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Dr. Sanker graduated from McNicholas High School and is excited to return to Anderson to start his medical career. He has been on multiple medical missions and plans to continue his international volunteer work. He enjoys reading, several recreational athletic activities, following Cincinnati sports teams, and spending time with his friends and family.
