With a lifelong desire to help people, it seemed only natural that Stephanie Schmidt, RN, FNP-BC, CEN, would become a nurse. After a decade of working in emergency department and surgical intensive care settings, she earned her master’s degree and family nurse practitioner certification. She appreciates the trust patients place in her to provide the care they need. Stephanie sees patients age 16 and older to prevent, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. She also offers same-day appointments for sick patients.
Stephanie values the opportunity to build relationships with her patients. She believes in working as a team to help them be successful in preventing disease and dealing with any health challenges. Stephanie encourages everyone making lifestyle changes to appreciate the small successes along the way, knowing that goals are accomplished one step at a time.
A Cincinnati native, Stephanie has an active teenage daughter. She enjoys travel, especially out west, and hiking. At home, she likes crafting and scrapbooking.
