Nicholas Parkinson, NP-C, was a LaSalle High School senior when he discovered a sense of accomplishment and self-reward while working on a service project in an underserved Appalachian community. That led him to pursue nursing as a career. After seven years as a registered nurse at Bethesda North Hospital, Nicholas worked seven more years as a family nurse practitioner at a local walk-in clinic.
Nicholas sees patients of all ages for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness, treating the whole patient, physically and mentally. He also offers same-day appointments for sick patients. Casual and down-to-earth, Nicholas works with each individual to accommodate their specific needs, while helping them be the healthiest version of themselves for a long, healthy and happy life. He encourages everyone to make lifestyle modifications through diet and exercise.
Married with three children, Nicholas likes spending family time going to the ocean, state parks and weekend road trips. He also enjoys watching his children’s soccer games and watching them grow.
