A natural caregiver from the start, Marla Evans, WHNP,
found anatomy and physiology fascinating in school,
leading her to pursue nursing as a career. She worked 17
years as a registered nurse in medical settings, including
mother-baby care. She continued her education to
become a nurse practitioner and has more than 13 years
helping women feel comfortable and heard during
OB/GYN exams. She appreciates the opportunity to
build long-term relationships with her patients.
As a certified nurse practitioner, Marla sees women
throughout their lifespans for the prevention, diagnosis
and treatment of obstetrics and gynecologic health care
concerns. She is particularly interested in improving
the health of women during the menopause transition.
Marla is very personable and values her patients,
assuring they feel confident that she is providing them
with the best care possible. She encourages everyone
to focus on preventive medicine, exercise and weight
management to live better.
From Bath, IN, Marla and her husband have four grown
children, a son and triplet daughters. She loves to travel
and read.
