Kristen Mueller, FNP, has gained extensive experience in the hospital and primary care office over more than 40 years, including 10 as a nurse practitioner. As a child, Kristen Mueller, FNP, drew inspiration for her future from her grandfather, who was the town’s doctor. She enjoys establishing long-term relationships with her patients and focusing on keeping them well.
As a nurse practitioner, Kristen sees patients 18 and older to prevent, diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses. She is skilled in addressing diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, COPD and anxiety/depression. She also conducts physicals and offers same‑day appointments for acutely ill patients. Kristen believes that it is important to listen to her patients and to gain an understanding of their needs and goals. She encourages everyone to take time for themselves, at least 30 minutes a day, to encourage good mental and physical health.
Originally from Syracuse, NY, Kristen recently moved from her long-time home of Marion, OH, to be closer to family. She enjoys arranging flowers, gardening, assembling charcuterie boards, reading, walking and spending time with family. She also volunteers at her church.
