Claire Wilkes, WHNP, brings five years of experience
as a labor and delivery nurse to her OB/Gyn practice.
She values the combination of critical thinking and
compassionate care that comes with women’s
health. She is passionate about addressing disparities,
advocating for reproductive health and providing
care that supports women from adolescence through
menopause.
As a certified nurse practitioner, Claire sees women for
the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of obstetrics
and gynecologic health care concerns. Taking a patientcentered,
holistic approach to care, Claire listens
actively, respecting individual values and preferences.
She involves her patients in shared decision-making.
She wants every patient to feel genuinely cared for,
comfortable and safe to express themselves without
judgment. Claire encourages everyone to prioritize
mental health as the foundation of overall well-being.
Claire adores two large dogs who keep her moving. As
an alumna of University of Alabama, she loves college
football – Roll Tide! She enjoys exercising, reading,
traveling and hanging out with friends and family.
