Brittany Murphy, AGACNP-BC, learned a bit about the medical field early in life as she watched her grandfather and father who were both firefighters. After nearly 10 years as a bedside nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, she earned her nurse practitioner credentials. She values the opportunity to work with patients on a weight loss journey and celebrating their joy as they achieve their goals.
As a certified nurse practitioner, Brittany supports surgical weight management patients, focusing on healthy dietary practices and compliance with post-operative bariatric treatment plans to achieve long-term weight loss success. She helps patients navigate the lifestyle adjustment following surgery, emphasizing the importance of nutrition, activity, and adherence to care plans. Brittany is known for creating a supportive environment, making patients feel comfortable with her approachable nature, laughter, and honesty. She encourages patients to be truthful about their progress and challenges, reminding them that openness is key to achieving their goals.
A native Cincinnatian, Brittany and her husband have a son and a daughter. Together, they live on a small farm in Clermont County, where they enjoy raising goats, chickens, and turkeys.
