The nervous system has always fascinated Dr. Salem, especially the brain
and its functions. With 10 years of experience as a neurologist, he comes
to TriHealth after serving as vice chair of the neurosciences department
at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.
Dr. Salem sees patients of all ages for a wide range of disorders
affecting the brain, spinal cord and nerves. He believes in forging strong
relationships based on mutual trust. He listens carefully to his patients
and provides the counseling needed to understand the diagnosis
and condition. He urges patients to take the lead in their medical
management.
With a goal to live better, Dr. Salem encourages everyone to learn more
about general health subjects and to seek medical advice early. He finds
it rewarding to help his patients improve their quality of life.
Dr. Salem is married and has three children. He enjoys sports, especially
soccer, as well as reading and history.
