Impressed by her pediatrician, who was smart, kind and compassionate, Annmarie Sagraves, PA-C, decided to pursue medicine as a career. She likes to know how and why things happen, which helps her treat or even prevent illness. Annmarie loves being part of a team, something she learned about through cross country and track in high school and college. She values working toward a common goal and collaborating with her healthcare team.
As a certified physician assistant, Annmarie sees patients of all ages for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness. She creates a welcoming environment where patients can feel seen and heard. She likes to involve her patients in treatment plans, emphasizing that taking ownership of their health leads to better outcomes. Annmarie encourages everyone to spend some time outdoors everyday, getting some exercise or just soaking up some vitamin D.
A native of Cincinnati, Annmarie is married and volunteers with the student ministry at her church. She likes spending time outside hiking, biking, running and camping. She has completed a half-marathon and has plans to run a marathon. Annmarie also enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and practicing her Spanish.
