TriHealth + UnitedHealthcare: Agreement Reached

TriHealth and UnitedHealthcare have reached a new agreement that ensures our patients have continued in-network access to TriHealth hospitals, facilities, and providers. Negotiating with health insurers is a standard part of ensuring we can continue delivering exceptional, high-quality care to our community.

TriHealth continues to set the national standard with our population health model, demonstrating that we can reduce health care spending while improving patient outcomes. We entered negotiations with UnitedHealthcare to secure reimbursement rates that reflect the quality and value of the care we provide and to reduce overly burdensome administrative requirements that take time away from patient care. We are pleased that our new agreement supports these goals.

Immediately, patients can continue to receive care without disruption under the new agreement.

You have in-network access to all TriHealth hospitals, facilities, and providers under the new agreement. Call your provider’s office directly to schedule an appointment.

All UnitedHealthcare commercial (employer-sponsored) and Medicare Advantage plans are included in the agreement.

No action is required. TriHealth remains in-network for all UnitedHealthcare commercial and Medicare Advantage members.

Patients may continue scheduling appointments, receiving care, and accessing all TriHealth services as usual.
