TriHealth On Call: Back to School Lunches and Your Child's Cognitive Development

Your child’s brain will change drastically over their first twenty years and nutrition plays a major role in their cognitive development. That’s why as children head back to school it’s important to ensure your child is eating a healthy lunch as they head back to school.

This segment of TriHealth On Call  features Douglas Anthony Cionni, MD, a pediatrician with TriHealth Pediatrics and TriHealth’s Queen City Physicians who explains the role of proper nutrition in your child’s development. He is joined by Diane Dew, a registered licensed dietician with TriHealth, who shares some tips on not only packing a healthy lunch for your child, but how to encourage them to eat it and get them involved in their own nutrition choices.
